Utkarsh Ambudkar and Ron Yuan Join Disney’s Live-Action ‘Mulan’ Cast
More of the cast marches in for Disney’s live-action adaptation of Mulan. Now, Utkarsh Ambudkar and Ron Yuan have officially joined the film.
Ambudkar has been slated in the role of a con artist named Skath; meanwhile, Yuan is set to play Sergeant Qiang, who is the second in command and is fiercely loyal to the Imperial Regiment. Ambudkar has starred in the musical comedy Pitch Perfect and has also appeared on The Mindy Project. Yuan has had roles in Prison Break and Sons of Anarchy.

They will be acting alongside Gong Li, Jet Li, Donnie Yen, and Liu Yifei. Liu is set to star in the titular role of the Chinese heroine Mulan.
As of now, the film is set for release some time in 2020.
