It: Chapter Two has found their adult Ben Hanscom.
Jay Ryan has been cast in the role as Ben, previously played by Jeremy Ray Taylor.

The New Zealand actor joins Jessica Chastain, JamesMcAvoy, Bill Hader, JamesRansone, and Andy Bean. The remaining Losers’ Club member to be cast is Mike Hanlon.
Ryan previously starred on the CW’s Beauty and the Beast, BBC’s Top of the Lake and Hulu‘s Mary Kills People. Ryan has primarily done TV work, and the role of Ben could be his breakout role in film.
As an adult, Ben slims down and becomes conventionally attractive. He is also a romantic rival for Bill, and it is implied in the novel that Ben and Beverly ultimately get together.
The casting of Ben leaves one role remaining, and we now wait in with bated breath to see who wins the role of Mike.
Production for It: Chapter Two will happen this summer in Toronto, Canada.
