Netflix and Penguin Random House Are Collaborating for a “Stranger Things” Book Deal
Netflix and Penguin Random House are teaming up to release two Stranger Things books this fall: one behind-the-scenes and a hardcover gift book for younger readers.
Penguin Random House will then release a book in the spring that is a prequel novel written by Gwenda Bond. The novel will be about Eleven’s Mother and the MKUltra Program. Penguin Random House is also planning to release other books for younger readers and adults later in 2019.
The fall companion book will be titled Stranger Things: A World Turned Upside Down: The Official Behind The Scenes Companion. The hardcover gift book has not yet been titled.
The Stranger Things books will be released through the publishing groups: Del Ray Books, Random House Children’s Books, Cornerstone Publishing, and Penguin Random House Children’s UK and all audiobook editions will be published by Penguin Random House Audio.
