‘Afro Samurai’ Creator Takashi Okazaki To Release ‘Batman Ninja’ Anime in 2018
Oh look, another Batman animated movie to join most recent additions, Batman & Harley Quinn and Batman: Gotham by Gaslight. However, this one is going to be about 10 times more lit because it’ll be in the form of an anime from Afro Samurai creator, Takashi Okazaki! See how I made you feel one thing and then another? Anyways, just days after Warner Bros. set a 2018 release date on a Teen Titans Go! animated film, we get news that they’ll release Okazaki’s Batman Ninja anime sometime in 2018.

“Warner Bros. Japan and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment team for an eye-popping addition to the Batman animated legacy with Batman Ninja, a spectacular, all-new anime film coming in 2018. Be among the first to witness the premiere of colorful footage from this imaginative take on Batman and many of his connected characters. Panelists will include director Jumpei Mizusaki, character designer Takashi Okazaki, screenwriter Kazuki Nakashima, English-language screenwriters Leo Chu & Eric Garcia and some potential special guests.”
I can tell you right now I’m here for it. Anything from the man behind Afro Samurai has to be gold, right? With Jaden Smith’s Neo Yokio and an anime short for Blade Runner 2049 recently released, there have been quite a few animes to keep up with along with the usual line up still airing in Japan.
