DCEU Panel Breakdown Here! #SDCC17

It’s lit! DCEU did not come to play at this year’s #SDCC17 panel. This year is probably one of Warner Bros.’s biggest years at Comic-Con with an upcoming eight films in the works, the DC panel this year was like no other. So, lets jump right into it with the upcoming blockbuster, Justice League.

Ok let us all take a moment to geek the heck out over that amazing SDCC Justice League trailer we got today! Done? Alright! With this being Warner Bros.’s next big film, it’s no surprise that they came with the big guns for this movie with a 4 minute trailer and panel discussion. Some very dope gems were dropped during this discussion that we’ll dive into later but damn that trailer!

This is a new age of heroes being ushered in by Ben Affleck’s Batman and Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman and I am here for it. Oh, and Steppenwolf looks WAY better than I could have ever imagined. Justice League hits theaters November 17th. Check out the trailer below!

Next we have, Shazam! which is the next film to begin production and is slated to hit theaters April 5th, 2019. So far this is the only movie we have a confirmed release date for although Green Lantern Corps. and Cyborg are scheduled for a 2020 release.

Joss Whedon’s Batgirl is said to begin production in 2018 along with Suicide Squad 2’s production following shortly after in mid 2018. Justice League Dark still does not have a director but the movie is confirmed to still be in the works. One of the biggest announcements from the panel is that The Flash movie will be taking on the Flashpoint Paradox adaptation! The movie is set for a 2018 release. The story may be altered to fit into the DCEU. My theory is that this may tie into that Flash scene we saw in Batman v Superman and will possibly introduce the Injustice storyline as a result of the Flashpoint Paradox.

Stay tuned with everything #SDCC17 here and let us know what you think!
