‘Black Panther’ Teaser Gets 89 Million Views in 24 Hours

We are all anxiously waiting to witness Chadwick Boseman reprise his role as T’Challa, King of Wakanda, in the highly-anticipated Black Panther film and it’s evident that much of the world has the same sentiments.

The teaser trailer for the film garnered 89 million views in its first 24 hours. The trailer made its debut during game four of the NBA Finals before being released on social media. The full tally of views comes from the 19 million views the teaser received from those watching game four on ABC.

If you happened to miss the trailer or just want to watch it again, or on repeat like the rest of us, check it out below:

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 89 million views thrusts Black Panther into the third spot for most most-watched Marvel trailers and it generated more mentions on Twitter than the game four itself.

The Ryan Coogler directed flick also stars Lupita Nyong’o, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, Danai Gurira, Florence Kasumba, Leticia Wright and Daniel Kaluuya.

Be sure to mark your calendars for February 16, 2018 when Black Panther claws its way into theaters.
