‘Sense8’ Reveals Trailer for Season 2
Last winter, Sense8 gave us their Christmas special and since then, we’ve been waiting eagerly for the release of season 2. Slotted to stream on May 5, this Netflix original has given us the newest trailer teasing for the upcoming season.
Season 2 will continue to follow the dark forces led by Whispers that aim to track down the cluster of the eight connected characters. The sensates will learn more about Whispers’ secret organization, the Biologic Preservation Organization (BPO), that actively hunts down and kills clusters just like the ones of our heroes. Throughout the first season and even in the Christmas special, the cluster and we both see the BPO as a threat and danger, but in the trailer, Will Gorski, a sensate, stands up to Whispers and states, “You think you’re hunting us? We’re coming for you.”
The trailer even teases some interesting scenes where we see Sun Bak escaping from prison with the help of her cluster, the couple Lito and Hernando at a sort of Pride event celebrating their love, and a powerful message from Riley Blue saying, “As long as we’re together, I know there’s nothing we can’t do.”

Just as the first season, the trailer promises action, romance, and drama to explore the narrative of this cluster and how they will plan to save each other. The new season features a poster with a featured tagline, “Survive Together,” a fitting phrase for the group as they venture against the BPO and the dangers Whispers presents.
Sense8 is a Netflix Original sci-fi series created by Lana Wachowski, Grant Hill, and J. Michael Straczynski. It revolves around eight people around the world who are connected through their senses to form a cluster. Together, they are able to speak to one another and experience their lives together. However, with their cluster’s existence comes a danger that threatens their very lives.
