Rumor: ‘X-Men: Supernova’ Synopsis Confirms Dark Phoenix’s Return
The next X-Men film might finally be closer to being officially announced. Fox has stayed pretty quiet about the next chapter of their main X-Men franchise. But it looks like we might finally have some news about the future of the Xmen. Its lit.
According to The film’s production listing on My Entertainment World, The next Xmen fill will be titled ‘X-men: Supernova.’ They also provided us with a synopsis of the story. The listing also states the film will starting shooting in June. Check out the Film Production listing below!
If this is official, it confirms that the new film will be based on the classic X-Men storyline. Here’s the Synopsis
Synopsis:
Gathered together by Professor Charles Xavier to protect a world that fears and hates them, the X-Men had fought many battles, been on adventures that spanned galaxies, grappled enemies of limitless might, but none of this could prepare them for the most shocking struggle they would ever face. One of their own members, Jean Grey, has gained power beyond all comprehension, and that power has corrupted her absolutely! Now they must decide if the life of the woman they cherish is worth the existence of the entire universe!
Although this synopsis sounds great, there’s still a chance that this synopsis is fake, seeing that Fox has not confirmed any plans to follow-up 2016’s “X-Men: Apocalypse” yet. There’s also another X-Men project listed on the My Entertainment World’s TV section. Which has the titles “Hellfire” or “Heaven.” That is most likely the untitled “X-Men” TV series pilot that Bryan Singer will direct.
