If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to be inside the world of John Wick, prepare yourself — because Lionsgate’s John Wick Experience at AREA15 in Las Vegas isn’t just an attraction, it’s a fully immersive plunge into the high-stakes underworld of assassins, crime syndicates, and Continental-level secrets.
As a lifelong fan of the franchise, I can tell you first-hand, this is the closest you’ll ever come to being part of the John Wick mythos without needing a bulletproof suit.

During our time at CinemaCon, Lionsgate gave press an exclusive chance to take on the experience before its public debut — and it didn’t disappoint. Lionsgate had the strongest studio presentation of the convention thanks to The Weeknd closing it out with a concert, but the John Wick Experience helped solidify their presence in Vegas. Not just for the weekend but as a Vegas residency.

Spanning 12,000 square feet, the experience features themed bars, detailed cinematic rooms, and interactive missions that blend storytelling with action. Each stage of the journey feels like it was ripped right out of the films — from dimly lit lounges filled with watchful eyes, to tense encounters with fully committed live actors who do not break character. You’re not just watching the story unfold — you’re in it.
Created in collaboration with director Chad Stahelski and his 87Eleven stunt team, the John Wick Experience is packed with signature John Wick iconography and design flourishes, from Continental coin exchanges to hidden rooms and unexpected allies (or enemies).
Fans can grab a drink at one of two sleek bars, pick up exclusive merch, and feel like they’re truly a part of the John Wick universe. Lionsgate and Egan Productions (also behind The Official SAW Escape and Escape Blair Witch) have created something that’s less tourist attraction, more cinematic experience.

Your group is tasked with completing a mission as you navigate through rooms. My crew? Full of personalities with people cracking jokes. That being said, the workers at the Continental weren’t having it. Not only did they get us in line, they also were unafraid to roast us, which made the whole thing 10 times more fun, and honestly? I highly recommend doing this with a group of friends. It turns an immersive experience into an unforgettable memory.
Just when you think you’ve survived it all, the finale hits hard—an intense virtual gun training simulation that demands precision, speed, and more energy than you’d expect. Equal parts thrilling and exhausting, it had me sweating like I just went three rounds with Wick himself. Trust me, your heart will be racing.
This isn’t a haunted house or a typical escape room. It’s a narrative-driven experience powered by atmosphere, interactivity, and the kind of high-stakes tension that defines the John Wick franchise. While you’re encouraged to take photos in some areas, for most of the journey, you’re better off staying locked in—you’ll want both hands free.
As the John Wick universe expands, Lionsgate has more heat coming. Ana de Armas will lead Ballerina, which hits theaters on June 6. Donnie Yen is set to star in and direct a spin-off featuring his character from the franchise, Caine.

The high table has spoken — and the Wick world is just getting started.
