Netflix’s dark take on Sabrina adds a new face!
Opposite of lead Kiernan Shipka, Richard Coyle (The Collection) has been cast as Father Blackwood. As High Priest of the Church of Night and Day, Blackwood holds an ominous agenda, who will come face to face in conflict with Sabrina and other members of the coven.
Recently the fantasy series addedMichelle Gomez (Doctor Who), who will portray Mary Wardell, Sabrina’s favorite teacher and mentor at her school Baxter High. Wardell turns into cunning manipulator who is possessed by Madam Satan, trying to lure Sabrina in a dark path.
Chance Perdomo also joined the show and will portray Ambrose Spellman, Sabrina’s warlock cousin from England. Ambrose is forbidden from leaving the funeral home where he lives when placed under house arrest by the Witches Council. Identifying as pan-sexual, he is Sabrina’s partner in crime. This will be Perdomo’s first American screen credit.
