The Hollywood Reporter released some news about impending Sony and Marvel Spider-Man based collaborations, outside of the already announced Venom and Silver and Black films.
According to the story Sony is looking to introduce some big-name Spidey villains to the fray with Mysterio and Kraven the Hunter expected to appear.
There was no timing given on when this could happen, but both of these villains have played major roles in the Spider-Man comic books, as well as the animated Spider-Man television shows. So, it will be interesting to see how they will be introduced into Sony and Marvel’s plans for Spider-Man.
So far, there is no word on casting, as the plans seem to be in the early stages. However, earlier this year, Spider-Man: Homecoming star, Tom Holland said that Aquaman star, Jason Momoa would be his top choice for Kraven.
