A new teaser for the upcoming Final Destination: Bloodlines has been released.
It’s been more than a decade since the last installment of the franchise horrified audiences with the concept of a curse implementing unpredictable deaths on its victims. Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein directed the movie that will follow a college student looking to save his family after a cryptic nightmare established that they were all going to die. There is no escape for the new generation of people who will be forced to meet their fate in Final Destination: Bloodlines.
The new teaser for the sequel shows William Bludworth (Tony Todd) explaining to the main characters of this movie how to cheat the curse. In order to save their lives, anyone impacted by the spell has to kill someone or die in the process. Fate will continue to find Stefani Lewis (Kaitlyn Santa Juana) until one of these options is chosen by her. Long-time fans of the franchise will recognize Tony Todd from previous Final Destination movies. William Bludworth will serve as the connection between the first installments of the series and what the future holds for the legacy of the franchise.
The cast of Final Destination: Bloodlines will also feature Teo Briones, Richard Harmon and Owen Patrick Joyner. The premise of the sequel will also deal with teenagers suffering the consequences of choices made by their ancestors. The stage has been set for one of the most popular horror franchises of all time to make an impact during the summer movie season.
Final Destination: Bloodlines will compete for ticket sales against Thunderbolts*and the live-action Lilo & Stitchremake. Time will tell if this sequel will mark the start of a new era for Final Destination, or if the franchise is also doomed to suffer an unconventional death.
