The Marvel universe is continuously expanding, and with Disney+, the train hasn’t stopped at all. Although we’ve had a couple of different versions of Hulk in the MCU, we have never gotten a live-action version of Jennifer Walters until now!

Leading up to the series debut, I had the chance to sit with head writer Jessica Gao to discuss the new series. Gao spoke about why she loved the character and how John Byrne’s run inspired her writing for this MCU version. Gao also spoke about her favorite episodes from the series and her excitement for fans to see Wong in a different light. Lastly, Gao told me about how she would love to see She-Hulk team up with Steve Rogers’ Captain America.
