San Diego Comic Con is well underway and the news just keeps pouring in. Those who were fortunate enough to attend the D23 Expo were a little disappointed to find out that the producers of DuckTales didn’t seem to want to talk either way about how much of an importance Darkwing Duck would be playing in the upcoming show. Now a week later, it’s official that the costumed villain will be showing his face in Duckburg.
Though no date is set in stone for when we can expect the character in the reboot, he and his daughter Gosalyn will appear, making this the first time that Darkwing has formally existed in the DuckTales Universe beside other famous ducks like Scrooge, Donald, and their nephews, Huey, Dewey and Louie.
