New year, new you, new Netflix shenangians.
In between bleeding money, cancelling shows, and attempting to stop password sharing, Netflix has managed to produce (and acquire) a number of projects that are worth checking out this month. Starting off with a bang with our favourite yakuza turned househusband returning for a second season in The Way of the Househusband, which premieres on New Year’s Day.
Our favourite messy mother-daughter duo Ginny & Georgia returns for a second round; let’s see if it gets a third. Nicolas Winding Refn’s noir thriller series Copenhagen Cowboy gives a neon-drenched noir trip worth taking. Scott Cooper teams up with the always booked and busy Christian Bale for a gothic mystery featuring an unlikely sidekick in The Pale Blue Eye.
