We are in the end game now as Paramount started day four of CinemaCon.
The studio giant has had a lot of buzz surrounding what previews they would show. It’s safe to say they did not disappoint as they rolled out a lot of footage and dropped, so first looks at upcoming titles.
Some exciting announcements didn’t have footage but were enough to get a reaction from the audience. Seth MacFarlane and Akiva Shaffer are teaming up to bring a reboot of Naked Gun, which is sure to be a comedic classic.
To the surprise of many, Kendrick Lamar and South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker are bringing us an untitled musical for 2025. We weren’t expecting a logo reveal and the announcement that we’re getting a Transformers and GI: Joe crossover film with no release date yet.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of Christopher Nolan’s masterpiece, Interstellar, and to celebrate, we are getting a rerelease in theaters. What’s unique about the film returning for another run is that it will be available in 70mm format wherever theaters support it.
While much of the talent has been on location filming, Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry, Lupita Nyong’o, and Joseph Quinn graced the stage to introduce their respective projects.
Check out some of the biggest previews from Paramount’s presentation at CinemaCon below:
Gladiator 2
Perhaps the most anticipated film of the presentation is Gladiator 2, and they did not disappoint. We got the entire trailer, which looks as thrilling as the first installment. Paul Mescal steps into the role of Russel Crowe’s son, looking excellent suited up. The supporting cast is stacked, with Denzel Washington, Pedro Pascal, and Joseph Quinn along for the ride. Ridley Scott’s sequel will hit theaters later this year on November 24.
A Quiet Place: Day One
While we have gotten a few trailers in the past months, today, we were given an extended final trailer for the third installment of John Krasinski’s A Quiet Place saga. Lupita Nyong’o and Joseph Quinn introduced the film, which will be released this summer on June 28.
IF
The cute imaginary friend film IF debuted a full trailer introduced virtually by John Krasinski. Ryan Reynolds leads an ensemble cast with too many big names including Louis Gossett Jr., Steve Carrell, Sam Rockwell, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, George Clooney, and Matt Damon, to name a few. This trailer was a crowd favorite as audiences laughed and probably reminisced about their childhood IFs.
Sonic 3
The long-awaited third installment of the Sonic film franchise is on the way, and we have the first look at the trailer. Jim Carrey was the star in the trailer we watched, which included our first look at Shadow. There has yet to be an official announcement of who will voice the character, as many were surprised they skipped that reveal today. Sonic 3 races into theaters on December 20.
Transformers One

The surprise film of the presentation was Transformers One, with Chris Hemsworth and Brian Tyree Henry appearing on stage to discuss it. It’s been over 40 years since the animated film The Transformers: The Movie, and it seems this next animated feature was well worth the wait. We were treated for a six minute 3D clip of the upcoming film, and the graphics are mind-blowing and solid. The movie releases in theaters on September 20.
