Award season is now upon us, and the Golden Globe Awards kick off the televised award show events.
This year’s Golden Globes has many categories that are too close to call, and it will be interesting to see which actors walk away with the golden hardware by the end of the evening.
The Golden Globes events are already underway. On Friday night, Viola Davis was honoured with the Cecil B. DeMille Award for her illustrious career during the event. Other Cecil B. DeMille Award winners include Sidney Poitier, Meryl Streep, Tom Hanks, and Oprah Winfrey, amongst others.

In addition, three-time Golden Globe recipient Ted Danson received the Carol Burnett Award during the evening’s festivities. This marks the first time a separate event has been dedicated to the Cecil B. DeMille and Carol Burnett Award winners.
The 82nd Golden Globes will be televised tonight on CBS and streamed on Paramount+ at 8:00 p.m. Eastern.
Be sure to follow along as we update the winners in this article in real-time as the award show takes place!
