From animated classics like Danny Phantom, to the game changing movie Spider-Man, we put together a list of the best superhero shows and movies currently on the streaming service.

Spider-Man
Spider-Man centers on student Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) who, after being bitten by a genetically-altered spider, gains superhuman strength and the spider-like ability to cling to any surface. He vows to use his abilities to fight crime, coming to understand the words of his beloved Uncle Ben: “With great power comes great responsibility.”
Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
The worldwide law-enforcement organization known as S.H.I.E.L.D. (Strategic Homeland Intervention Enforcement and Logistics Division) employs an elite team of agents who investigate strange occurrences around the globe and beyond. Its members — each of whom brings a specialty to the group — work to protect those who cannot protect themselves from extraordinary and inconceivable threats, including a formidable group known as Hydra. The series is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and acknowledges the continuity of the franchise’s films and other television series.
Runaways
There are times when pretty much every teenager thinks his or her parents are evil — but what if it was actually true? That’s the situation six Los Angeles teenagers find themselves in when they stumble upon a terrible secret and realize that their parents have been lying to them for their entire lives. The offspring begin an investigation to try to figure out what their guardians are after, while the adults wonder if their kids are hiding secrets of their own.
My Hero Academia
My Hero Academia is a Japanese superhero manga series written and illustrated by Kōhei Horikoshi. It has been serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump since July 2014, with its chapters additionally collected into 26 tankōbon volumes as of March 202.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Sarah Michelle Gellar takes on the role of Buffy Summers in this TV version of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, based on the film of the same title, which starred Kristy Swanson. Buffy is a Slayer, one in a long line of young women chosen for a specific mission: to seek out and destroy vampires, demons and other forces of darkness.
Legion
David Haller is a troubled young man who was diagnosed with schizophrenia as a child. Shuffled from one psychiatric institution to the next, in his early 30s, David met and fell in love with a beautiful and troubled fellow patient named Syd. After a startling encounter with her, he was forced to confront the shocking possibility that the voices he hears and the visions he sees may actually be real.
Preacher
Fulfilling a promise to his deceased father, one-time outlaw Jesse Custer returns home to West Texas to take over his dad’s church. Jesse’s mission, however, becomes twisted when his body is overcome by a cryptic force that unleashes within him a highly unconventional power. Together with hell-raising ex-girlfriend Tulip and Irish vagabond Cassidy, the preacher-in-training embarks on a journey to find God in a world inhabited by holy, hellish, and everything-in-between characters.
Smallville
An interpretation of the Superman story features young Clark Kent coming to grips with his emerging superpowers. He must hide his abilities from his friends, including Lana Lang, the girl of his dreams, and Lex Luthor, who will one day become Superman’s nemesis. Complicating matters is the presence of kryptonite throughout Smallville, which causes strange mutations in locals and cripples Clark.
Danny Phantom
Danny Fenton was once your typical kid until he accidentally blew up his parents’ laboratory and became ghost-hunting superhero Danny Phantom. Now half-ghost, Danny’s picked up paranormal powers, but only his sister, Jazz, and best friends, Samantha and Tucker, know his secret. Danny’s busy fighting ghosts, saving Casper High and hiding his new identity all while trying to graduate.
The Gifted
Marvel expands its footprint on the television landscape with this new family adventure series about an ordinary suburban family whose lives change course forever when they discover their children have developed mutant powers. When the threat of a hostile government forces the family to go on the run to protect themselves, they join the ranks of an underground network of mutants. Together, the group fight to survive in a world where fear and misunderstanding put them at constant risk.
One Punch Man
One-Punch Man is a Japanese superhero webcomic created by the artist One in early 2009. It has a manga adaptation illustrated by Yusuke Murata, as well as an anime adaptation.
Cloak and Dagger
The collapse of an oil rig in New Orleans owned by the company Roxxon causes two teenagers to become unlikely friends. Tandy Bowen and Tyrone Johnson come from vastly different backgrounds — Tandy, from a very wealthy upbringing, and Tyrone, a boy from Boston who has a stutter. As runaways, the two teens are targeted by drug cartels on the streets of New York City. When circumstances help form a tight bond between the couple, their developing abilities and feelings make things more complicated.
Misfits
Five juvenile offenders with nothing in common find themselves working together on a community service project, and their differing personalities soon cause sparks to fly. But that’s nothing compared to what happens when a freak electrical storm hits town. Shortly thereafter, they find that they are developing superpowers.
Teen Titans GO!
This follow-up to the popular Teen Titans series takes a more comedic look at the superheroes, showing what life is like for the teens when their capes come off. Funny things happen to Robin, Starfire, Raven, Beast Boy and Cyborg between saving the world and being regular teens, living together without adult supervision.
The PowerPuff Girls
Accidentally created in a lab by Professor Utonium, superpowered sisters Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup regularly save Townsville from evildoers such as Mojo Jojo, the Gangreen Gang and Him. Blossom is the self-proclaimed leader of the trio, Bubbles is the cute one and Buttercup is the toughest one.
Justice League Action
Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman lead a group of superheroes, the Justice League, into action in this animated series. The heroes must battle enemies that include space invaders and bizarre forces of magic as they try to defend Earth from the supervillains intent on destroying the planet. The heroes are up for any challenge as they embark on thrilling adventures.
Super
After his wife (Liv Tyler) leaves him, a fry cook (Rainn Wilson) emulates a TV superhero and transforms himself into a costumed vigilante.
