The latest Warner Bros. DC movie is Birds of Prey, and the release date is right around the corner (we could not be more excited)!

To celebrate the new film, fans were given a taste of what to expect from Birds of Prey: The Album with the release of the first single “Diamonds”, performed by Megan Thee Stallion and Normani. The song was was written by Megan and Normani, as well as Tayla Parx and Louis Bell.

The song and music video takes inspiration from “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend,” performed by Marilyn Monroe from the 1953 film, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (which you can also see being referenced to in the Birds of Prey trailers with a Harley Quinn dance number).
