Tiffany Haddish Wants to Play Nubia in a ‘Wonder Woman’ Film
Ever since her break out role in last year’s Girls Trip, Tiffany Haddish has been taking the entertainment industry by storm. However, the actress does not want to be pigeon-holed into strictly comedic roles and has her eyes set on a role as DC comic book character, Nubia or Dark Horse’s Mystery Girl.
In an interview with IndieWire, Haddish said, “I would love to do Mystery Girl, or play Wonder Woman’s sister, ’cause she has a sister. In the 1978 issue of ‘Wonder Woman,’ she has a sister named Nubia. She has a black sister. Only person that could kill her. They don’t tell you that though, too much.” Haddish added, “Me and Gal Gadot. That would be sold out.”

Haddish is right about Nubia’s origins and many fans of the Wonder Woman comics have been hoping that Nubia would indeed be introduced to the films in the future.
While these are plans or goals that Haddish would like for the future, she will soon be no stranger to the comic book-to-film genre, starring in The Kitchen alongside Melissa McCarthy and Elizabeth Moss. The Kitchen is based on the popular Vertigo Comics publication of the same name which follows the lives of three wives of Irish Mobsters after their husbands are arrested and the trio of ladies is left to manage the the criminal enterprises.

That’s a great idea!
Nubia however should be a stand alone film
And not a cameo in Wonder Woman.
She is interesting and important enough to have her own movie.
