Brendan Fraser Joins Cast of ‘Doom Patrol’ as the Voice of Robotman

Brendan Fraser has nabbed a lead role in DC Universe’s upcoming Doom Patrol series. Fraser will be portraying Cliff Steele a.k.a. Robotman.

Fraser will be providing the voiceover work for the character and Riley Shanahan will be taking on the physical performance of the character in a full body costume.

For those unfamiliar with Cliff Steele, he was a former race car driver that was in an accident that rendered his body uninhabitable. However, Steele’s brain was saved by Dr. Niles Caulder and Steele now lives on in a robot body – hence the moniker, Robotman.
