Less than a month after the conclusion of E3, the LA Convention Center has been converted from a video game paradise to an anime heaven for Anime Expo. On the first day of the event, Netflix made their dedication to the medium known with the announcement of the continuation of two beloved series. As well as some new anime joining the Netflix Original line-up.

Headlining the announcements was the news that their hit video game inspired show, Castlevania, will finally be returning for an 8 episode second season on October 26. If you’re not down for the hyper-violent gore of Castlevania, no worries, Netflix has something for you too. Debuting sometime in 2019, we will also see the return of everyone’s favorite red panda in the second season of Aggretsuko.

Joining Aggretsuko in 2019 will be the long-anticipated title Cannon Busters on March 1, 2019. Created by LeSean Thomas, known for his work on shows like The Boondocks and Crunchyroll’s Children of Ether, Cannon Busters will premiere with 12 episodes for its first season. Netflix describes the show as the following:

“The show follows the adventures and exploits of S.A.M, a high-end friendship droid who’s joined by a quirky, discarded maintenance robot and a brash, deadly fugitive. Together, the unlikely trio embarks on an unforgettable journey in a fantastic and dangerous world in search of S.A.M’s best friend, the heir to a kingdom under siege. LeSean Thomas created, directs and exec produces the series”
