In its opening weekend, Infinity War has already broken records, courtesy of its $39 million Thursday night earnings. This pushes it past Age of Ultron’s preview night haul of $27.6 million, which is now the second highest Thursday night opening for an MCU film. Now, Disney and Marvel Studios have another reason to celebrate before the weekend comes to close. The MCU has earned over $15 billion at the global box office.

This massively impressive haul, of course, includes all 18 of the Marvel films, which began with 2008’s Iron Man. The number will continue to climb, as the third Avengers entry is expected to reach the $1 billion mark at the worldwide box office before leaving theaters. Should it be welcomed into the $1 billion club, it’ll join the following MCU movies: The Avengers, Iron Man 3, Age of Ultron, Civil War, and Black Panther.

Variety notes Infinity War is projected to earn upwards of $245 million domestically this weekend alone. Other forecasts suggest it may cross the $250 million milestone, placing it above Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ $248 million–the highest grossing opening weekend haul of all time.

Avengers: Infinity War is in theaters now.
