‘Dragon Ball FighterZ’ Sets New Sales Record in Under a Week
The stunning visuals in Dragon Ball FighterZ quickly captured the attention of everyone from long-term fans of the manga to hardcore fighting enthusiast.
This wide-ranging appeal makes it unsurprising that earlier this week Bandai Namco announced that in just a little under a week, the game managed to surpass over two million copies sold. A record-breaking stat for Dragon Ball licensed games, making FighterZ the quickest selling game the series has seen.
Even more impressive, these numbers were totaled prior to the release in Japan on January 31. A release which is predicted to cause sales to skyrocket. Only to see another boost later this year when the game sees its rumored release on the Nintendo Switch. A platform that Bandai Namco has continuously supported since its launch, even porting the wildly popular Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2
Dragon Ball FighterZ is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Be sure to watch out for our review dropping tomorrow, after we spent a week with the game proving to the world why Teen Gohan is the truth!

Great story. However, I think long term fans are the right word to use. I would have just wrote Fan base, just fans, Or change it all by saying fans who grew up watch Dragon Ballz. Still, I enjoyed reading this and am a big Dragon Ball Z Fan.
