The Hellboy remake starring David Harbour has found it’s release date.
The film will be released January 11th 2019. Before you freak out about the poor release date, just remember that each year has becoming increasingly competitive.

Every month has a tent-pole blockbuster with built-in fanbases, Lionsgate looks to avoid their box office from being cannibalized by other studios. And there is something poetic about a movie about Hellboy being released in the dead of winter.
David Harbour will be playing the titular role, and will be joined by Milla Jovovich (Resident Evil), Sasha Lane (American Honey), Ian McShane (American Gods), and Daniel Dae Kim (Hawaii 5-0). The film is penned by Hellboy creator Mike Mignola, with Andrew Cosby (Eureka) and Christopher Golden. Neil Marshall (The Descent, Game of Thrones) has been tasked with directing the picture. The talent involved behind the camera and in front is on fire, perfect for Hellboy’s comeback.
This release date is not set in stone, but Hellboy is certainly the right hero to bring the heat at the January box office.
