A few months ago it was reported that Daredevil will begin production for season three in late October but thanks to a public notice sign shared on Twitter yesterday, it was revealed that in fact today is the start day for production.

Back when season 2 was being filmed, Daredevil used the name Ringside, which is the same name that appears in the signs hanging in New York posts alongside with an s3, reinforcing the idea that we’re talking about Daredevil.

This news comes days after Vincent D’Onofrio, -Wilson Fisk a.k.a the Kingpin of crime-  shared that he was attending the first reading script of the show’s third season, confirming in the process his involvement in said season.

If Daredevil s3 does end production by the end of June 2018, we are hopeful that the series will premiere in the streaming service in the fall of next year, as the turnaround for Netflix shows last between 3 to 4 months.
After the events of The Defenders, spoiler alert where we saw Matthew Murdock (Charlie Cox) “dying” in the collapse of Midland Circle only to reveal moments later that he was alive and in the care of a “Sister Maggie” end of spoiler, most of us have been eager to find out what really happened to Matt and what’s next for the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen.
Everything in that finale hint that the show might take on the Born Again storyline written by Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli –even Charlie Cox hinted so himself-, and with the return of D’Onofrio to the show, that “tease” seems a lot more likely as time passes.
