Back in season one, when Kara went to Superman’s Fortress of Solitude, we saw a Legion flight ring on display, teasing the existence of The Legion of Superheroes. And with this casting news, it looks like that tease is about to pay off.

According to CBR, Saturn Girl has been cast in a recurring role for the next season of Supergirl, and will be played by actress Amy Jackson, a British-born Bollywood actress. However, there was no specification on the number of episodes she’s going to be in.

In Saturn Girl’s official description, it can be read:

Saturn Girl, aka Imra Ardeen, is a kind, smart, and strong-willed hero who uses her telekinetic ability to help those in need. She was born on Titan, one of Saturn’s moons, and arrives on Earth to help Supergirl battle one of her biggest threats.

What seems to be absent is the fact that Saturn Girl, originally, is a citizen of the 31st century and that she also has the ability to read and/or control minds, but maybe those details weren’t specified due to the network, The CW, wanting to hold onto some surprises for the season premier, because by the looks of it, Saturn Girl may be appearing in it.
