Check Out ‘Cradle’ A Sci-Fi Short Film Starring Dante Basco
DUST recently released Cradle, a short film directed by David Holechek and starring Dante Basco.
Holechek is a Los Angeles director who has largely worked on short films and has taken various behind-the-scenes roles on several feature films. His short film A Finger, Two Dots Then Me has been submitted to 80 film festivals, and won over 35 awards. You can see more from Holechek here. Basco has been a longtime actor in genre films and tv shows. His latest work involves working on a Rufio prequel film, so far ha has produced the short film that serves as the starting off point for the potential feature. Rufio is Basco’s most iconic character from 1991’s Hook. Check that out the short film here.

Cradle follows a man’s many attempt to rewrite history after a terrible event. Basco puts in a wonderful performance as this man who is struggling with his failures and his desperate attempts to complete his mission.
