Clancy Brown Announced As Surtur For ‘Thor: Ragnarok’
This past weekend, news regarding Thor: Ragnarok was revealed at the annual San Diego Comic-Con. Details included information about which beasts and creatures we can expect to see in the film. One of which is Surtur.
The enormous fiery demon will include performances of two people; director Taika Waititi will play the physical role on set and perform motion capture sequences while Clancy Brown will lend his voice to the character. Brown is a prominent voice actor his roles include the one and only Mr. Krabs from SpongeBob SquarePants as well as characters from Tangled: The Series, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Star Wars: Rebels. Aside from voice acting, Brown has also made appearances in LOST, Shawshank Redemption, Starship Troopers, and Highlander.
