Day 3 for San Diego Comic-Con International has come and gone in the blink of an eye, and while we wish this feeling could last a little longer, since it was a pretty amazing day, full of excitement for both Marvel and DC Comics, let’s have a quick recap of everything that went down today at Comic-Con.

For the DCEU we had plenty of news, so let’s begin with that:

For Marvel, the excitement was just as high, and this is what they had for us:

  • New Details Revealed On ‘Captain Marvel’ Film.
Before, there wasn’t a lot of information surrounding Captain Marvel, all we knew was that Brie Larson was set to play the character, but everything changed when Comic-Con attacked. There, Marvel revealed that the movie will be set in during the 1990s, with Nick Fury having both of his eyes and the Skrulls will serve as the film’s main villains.
  • Michelle Pfeiffer To Play Janet Van Dyne in Ant-Man & The Wasp.
Right after Ant-Man premiered, rumours about Janet Van Dyne began to flood the internet and while speculation was big, nothing was official. Now, Marvel has announced not only that the character in fact will be in the movie and will be played by no other than the amazing Michelle Pfeiffer.
  • ‘Ant-Man & The Wasp’ Roundup: Laurence Fishburne, New Characters and More.
Joining the cast of Ant Man & The Wasp are actors Laurence Fishburne, Randall Park, Walton Goggins and Hannah John-Kamen, alongside with a new logo for this upcoming movie.
  • New ‘Thor Ragnarok’ Trailer.
  • New Footage for Infinity War and Black Panther.
Though sadly, those weren’t revealed to the public.

While the upcoming comic movies seem pretty epic, the small screen had also some surprises that are sure to leave us just as amazed as the movies… (or maybe not).

So, there you have it, the major news Comic Con had to offer us this Saturday, but keep posted in our twitter page as SDCC still has one day more to go.

Let us know in the comments below for which news are you most excited about!
