Live-Action ‘Mulan’ Movie May Feature A Cameo By Ming-Na Wen

For those of you who are familiar with the Disney animated film, Mulan, you’ll be pleased to know that actress Ming-Na Wen, is in talks to join the live-action film for a cameo.

Wen originally voiced Mulan back in 1998 when the original hit theaters and while attending the Heroes & Villains Fest in Nashville Saturday, the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D star revealed she has already been approached to make an appearance for the upcoming live-action rendition.

Wen said, “I’m hoping. I mean, I’ve spoken to one of the producers on the film, and they’re still in the very early stages of it. So, we’re keeping an eye on it, and hopefully, yeah, It would be lovely too, I think, for the fans as well as for myself, right?”

Wen joked about having fans who are fond of the idea send out messages to Disney via social media, “So, I want everybody to Tweet, later on, today, to Disney and let them know how you feel.”

The casting process for the live-action movie is currently underway and will be directed by Niki Caro with a script from Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver.

Mulan is currently slated for a November 8, 2018 release.
