Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has already announced that Tom Holland would not appear in the Venom films as Spider-Man, making it seem as though the two will not be sharing the same universe together.

However, Sony producer Amy Pascal is keeping the door open for a potential future crossover.  In an interview with Fandom, Pascal said,

First, there is Spider-Man happily in the place where he’s supposed to be which is in the Marvel Universe. I think everything comes from that. This is the signpost, the tentpole, the signature and… the other movies that Sony’s going to make, in their relationship to this [MCU] Spider-Man, take place in this [separate Sony] world. Although you’re not going to see them in the Marvel Universe, it’s in the same reality. […] Venom is a character that is closely associated with Spidey and there may be some day where you see them together, you never know.

So, we never know.  At the very least, there is the very possibility of the two coming together on screen some time in the future.

Venom stars Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock and is directed by Ruben Fleischer.  It is scheduled to open October 5, 2018.
