A popular graphic novel phenomenon will be coming to the small screen.

Deadline reports that TWC/Dimension will be developing a television reboot of Frank Miller’s Sin City. Sin City is a popular graphic novel series that previously had a film adaption in 2005. The graphic novel focuses on different storylines of a variety to characters, all set in Basin City.

The upcoming television reboot will have The Walking Dead’s Glen Mazzara as its showrunner. Mazzara is also known for his work with The Shield and The Omen. Additionally, Len Wiseman will be producing the show. His credits are Underworld, Sleepy Hollow, and Lucifer. 

Frank Miller’s popular series will be “a far departure from the films, introducing original characters and timelines within the Sin City universe.”

  1. Hmmm…if they keep the color scheme of the movies and use the first movie as more of template this could be pure dope…
