Fresh off a spectacular fourth season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Clark Gregg is not resting on his laurels. The actor has joined the cast of the film Spinning Man.

The movie stars Guy Pearce as philosophy professor Evan, whose past affairs with students becomes public when one of them is murdered and he’s the prime suspect.

Gregg will play his lawyer Paul.

The film is based on a novel by George Harrar and directed by Simon Kaijer.

Gregg joins a cast that includes Pearce, Pierce Brosnan, Minnie Driver and Odeya Rush.

The actor will next be seen in the fifth season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. when it returns to ABC in early 2018 in its new timeslot Fridays at 9 pm.
