It appears that when Thor returns to fight with the Avengers in Infinity War, he may not be alone.

Avengers: Infinity War recently shifted production from Edinburgh, Scotland, to Durham, England. Spotted near Durham Cathedral in a fan selfie was none other than Tessa Thompson, who plays Valkyrie in the upcoming Thor: Ragnarok.

Of course this is not a confirmation of her appearance in the film, but it seems unlikely that she would just be hanging in the area to visit friends.

Also seen filming at the Cathedral were Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo. So this means at some point during or after Thor: Ragnarok the trio makes it way back to Earth.

In a previous interview with Entertainment Weekly, Thompson was asked about possibly appearing in other MCU films.

“You never know where people will pop up. In the next phase, the hope is to find ways to interweave all these characters, and certainly with Infinity War, those are the culmination of a lot of work since Iron Man,” said Thompson. “She’s part of the tapestry now. For me, it’s exciting to join at a time with young actors like Brie Larson and Chadwick Boseman and Michael B. Jordan. We’re all hopefully going to meet in one of these movies.”

Starring Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Cate Blanchett, Idris Elba, Tessa Thompson, Jeff Goldblum, Mark Ruffalo and Anthony Hopkins, Thor: Ragnarok flies into theaters Nov. 3.

Avengers: Infinity War opens May 4, 2018 and stars the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe.
