Ahsoka Tano is a character that was originally introduced in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and although many fans didn’t like her or see the need of her character to even exist in the beginning, by the conclusion of The Clone Wars (and now in Star Wars Rebels), people have really warmed up to her.

With the Star Wars universe receiving more and more films as the years go on, one can only wonder if Lucasfilm and Disney have any plans to bring more characters from the animated Star Wars universe to the live-action universe. Saw Gerrera was the first character to receive this treatment after being played by Forest Whitaker in Rogue One, so what’s to say a more widely known character such as Ahsoka couldn’t do the same successfully? Well, no one is saying it has a chance of happening, or of not happening, but at least Lucasfilm has one actress to call if they need help casting the role.

A fan reached out to Bosslogic, a well-known creator of fan art (mostly relating to pop culture), and asked what he thought of actress Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano. BossLogic himself didn’t respond, but Rosario did, and she seemed pretty excited about that idea:

While her “yes please” is great to hear, Lucasfilm and Disney have yet to reveal any plans of bringing Ahsoka to life on the big screen. Still, knowing the Daredevil and Luke Cage actress would be willing to take on this role is amazing news. However, it’s in the hands of the guys over at Lucasfilm and Disney now. Let’s make it happen, people.
