Marvel is no stranger to female-centric shows. Superheroine Jessica Jones has her own series on Netflix which is coming back for its third season and ABC had a short-lived, but well-received series called Agent Carter, that followed the exploits of Cap’s best girl, Peggy Carter.

Currently, ABC’s popular Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. series coming to an end with its sixth season. So, it is no surprise that ABC is making another Marvel series one of its priorities going forward.
