Atlanta maybe on hiatus until 2018 but Donald Glover is most definitely not. The actor, producer, rapper, writer, director, comedian and now Golden Globe winner has signed a deal with FX leading to more new future projects. Glover had to take a break on Atlanta so he could work on the upcoming Han Solo movie where he will be playing a young Lando Calrissian
Although it is not clear what sort of “future projects” Glover will be working on, we can be sure that it is going to be epic. Donald Glover just won Golden Globes for best t.v. series ( comedy/ musical) as well as best actor.
Nick Grad, co-boss of Original Programming at FX Networks and FX Productions, said in a recent press release “Atlanta was just the beginning, the breakout comedy of the year and a series revered as much for its originality as its honest look at the experience of being aspiring, young and back in that legendary city…”
