The first two episodes of Win or Lose, Pixar’s first-ever original series are now streaming on Disney+!
The Pixar series features the intertwined stories of eight different characters as they each prepare for their big championship softball game—the insecure kids, their helicopter parents, even a lovesick umpire.
With the release of the show’s first episodes, Pixar has released two new clips that feature different characters of the shows, as well as a featurette of the filmmakers where they discuss the series and what makes it special. Watch all three videos below!
“That’s Game”
In episode two, Frank (voiced by Josh Thomson), the umpire for the local softball league, lives his life from the sidelines. On the field, he never waivers: a strike is a strike and an out is an out, period. But good call or not—parents are the worst critics. Also features the voices of Milan Elizabeth Ray and Rosa Salazar.
“Go Rochelle”
In episode four, debuting next Wednesday on Disney+, Vanessa (voiced by Rosa Salazar) relies on her social media fans to help her navigate life as a single mom. But when she gets to the game, her daughter Rochelle (voiced by Milan Elizabeth Ray) is the only star. “That’s my baby!” Also features the voice of Josh Thomson.
In addition, a recently released featurette called “Creating the Pickles,” show the filmmakers weighing in on the series, its origins and what makes it unique. Check out the video below:
