Netflix is closing out this year with a stellar December lineup that is perfect for binge-watching during the winter holidays. From the long-awaited second season of Squid Game to Jamie Foxx’s highly anticipated comedy special Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was…, there is enough content to keep you distracted as we enter the new year.
Tyler Perry’s The Six Triple Eight, starring the phenomenal Kerry Washington, brings an inspiring World War II story to life, while Angelina Jolie delivers a powerhouse performance in Maria. Ronny Chieng, star of Interior Chinatown, is bringing his sharp wit to Netflix this month with his latest comedy special, Ronny Chieng: Love to Hate It. His leap from Hulu to Netflix marks another accomplishment for the comedian who continues to deliver across the streaming platforms and beyond.
Also in December, Netflix is making headlines by expanding into live sports, airing two NFL Christmas Day matchups: the Kansas City Chiefs vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens vs. the Houston Texans (GoC sports fans—let us know who you’re rooting for).
You will also be able to watch films like Mortal Kombat, Mad Max: Fury Road, and The Flash before they leave the service along with several other WB titles that are wrapping up their Netflix run.
