June is the kind of month that finally feels like a flex. The marquee is Avatar: Fire and Ash, hitting the service on June 24, and if you grew up sitting in an IMAX in 2009 watching Pandora glow for the first time, you already know what this drop means. The sequel pulled in over $ 1 billion at the box office and is rolling into streaming with a 196-day window.
The rest of the month does work too. Sally, the Cristina Costantini National Geographic documentary on astronaut Sally Ride, lands on June 17 and tells the full story that most of us were never taught in school.
Adventure Time: Side Quests drops on June 29, marking the first time the franchise has been available on Disney+ at all. Throw in The Bear (Season 5) internationally, Behind the Attraction (Season 3), and a Simpsons exclusive double-ep, and Disney+ in June 2026 is stacked across kids, doc, prestige, and tentpole.
In June, the Pixar Stream launches in the app. On June 10, a 24/7 Pixar channel will be the new background hum in every household with a kid under 10.
Bonnaroo 2026 livestreams from June 11 through June 14. Love Island USA Season 13 starts with daily drops on Hulu.

The Disney+ June 2026 Bottom Line
Avatar: Fire and Ash (June 24) is the obvious one. James Cameron’s third Pandora chapter brings back Zoe Saldaña and Cliff Curtis and arrives faster than most people expected.
Sally (June 17) is the one to actually sit down for. Director Cristina Costantini reframes Sally Ride not just as the first American woman in space but as a queer woman whose 27-year partnership with Tam O’Shaughnessy was never publicly named in her lifetime.
Adventure Time: Side Quests (June 29) is the generational pick.
