It’s been a few months now since they announced that ‘Young justice’ would come back for a third season. Now, we can expect the new episodes to have some much needed LGBTQ representation. Greg Weisman, co-creator of the series, explained in a thread of tweets that times have changed, and they may be allowed to acknowledge and openly talk about characters who are LGBTQ.

Weisman followed up his tweet by implying that times have changed in terms of what they can show in the series.

This makes it seem like, ‘Young Justice’ season 3 will be able to acknowledge the sexualities of characters that it previously could not. This is exciting news and although its been a long wait I’m glad Young Justice is taking steps to have proper representation!
