The first trailer for the second season of Wednesday has been released.

After three years of keeping audiences waiting, Netflix has finally revealed what comes next for the unpredictable character portrayed by Jenna Ortega. Nevermore Academy is full of mysteries. There’s only one student smart enough to figure out which villain is hiding in the shadows this time around. The new trailer for Wednesday showed the Addams Family member going through airport security. It’s hard to evade an airport’s security measures when carrying a wide variety of weapons. It remains to be seen where Wednesday will fly towards and why she thought it was responsible to take her arsenal with her.

The first season of Wednesday saw the titular character becoming Enid Sinclair’s (Emma Myers) roommate. While it was hard for the girls to be friends at first, the dangerous adventure they went through turned them into trustworthy allies. As seen in today’s trailer, Enid will be back in the second season of Wednesday. The characters can be seen talking about a few creepy dolls the protagonist has brought to their room. Enid’s werewolf abilities might come in handy once the young women return to television after three years.

The Wednesday television series was created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar. The first season of the show turned out to be a massive success for Netflix, who are looking for a new major hit now that Stranger Things is getting closer to ending. While fans have been eagerly waiting for more stories featuring the Addams girl, the stars of the series have been busy with projects such as Beetlejuice Beetlejuice and A Minecraft Movie.

The cast of Wednesday also includes Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams and Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams. The most beloved member of the family is ready to get to the bottom of yet another mystery in a new season of one of Netflix’s biggest blockbusters.
