IT HAS BEGUN! The marketing for the sequel to the sci-fi cult classic Blade Runner is underway. After a tease trailer debuted back in December, there hasn’t been much else to keep us excited about the film. Well, wait no longer as the studio behind the film has debuted two new sleek posters on the film’s twitter account. Check them out below:

While the original Blade Runner film poster was much more vibrant, these posters embody the phrase “less is more”.

Set thirty years after the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard, a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for thirty years. Blade Runner 2049 is directed by Denis Villenueve and stars Harrison Ford, Ryan Gosling, Jared Leto, Robin Wright, Dave Bautista, Lennie James and Ana de Armas.
