Viola Davis and Julius Tennon will be producing the adaptation of Rachel Lloyd’s acclaimed novel Girl’s Like Us.
“Girls Like Us: Fighting for a World Where Girls Are Not for Sale is Lloyd’s true story about falling prey to the world of commercial sex exploitation and escaping to dedicate her life to fight that very industry.”
Llyod is an activist, author, and founder of GEMS, Girls Education and Mentoring Services. Threw GEMS has has helped thousands of young women who have fallen prey to exploitation and human trafficking.
Davis and Tennon will be producing under JuVee Productions and partnering up with EveryWhere Studios.
