Warning! Thor: Ragnarok spoilers coming!
With all the merchandise and marketing tie-ins involved in blockbuster releases, it’s no surprise when some spoilers slip through the cracks. This has increasingly become the case with the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The latest early reveal comes courtesy of the Funko releases for Thor: Ragnarok.
The announcement of the film’s toy line has revealed that Surtur will be in the film.
The fire giant with his Sword of Doom (or Twilight) will be available as a Mystery Mini and a Pop! Vinyl.
Surtur has fought Thor for decades and appeared in both animation and video games.
The villain has been waiting for his moment to destroy the Gods, so obviously he is important in Ragnarok.
Directed by Taika Waititi and starring Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Cate Blanchett, Idris Elba, Tessa Thompson, Karl Urban, Jeff Goldblum, Mark Ruffalo and Anthony Hopkins, Thor: Ragnarok bursts into theaters Nov. 3.
