Though Star Wars: The Last Jedi is still breaking box office records, fans are already revving up for the next film in the franchise, Solo: A Star Wars Story.
There are still a lot of questions about what will happen in the next Star Wars anthology film. One of the major things fans have always wondered about Han Solo is why is he so cynical and jaded about the galaxy.
Franchise vet and Solo screenwriter Lawrence Kasdan explained that the film will show how Han “hardened up.”
“This is the story of a world-weary wise ass in waiting,” he said.
Rumors say the plot will involve a heist and feel more like a gangster movie. Of course this being a Star Wars film, very little is known about the actual story.
Directed by Ron Howard and starring Alden Ehrenreich, Donald Glover, Joonas Suotamo, Emilia Clarke, Thandie Newton, Paul Bettany, Warwick Davis, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Woody Harrelson, Solo: A Star Wars Story jumps into theaters May 25, 2018.
