The box office forecast for Ryan Coogler’s Sinnersis looking positive for Warner Bros. Pictures.

The next movie from the Black Panther filmmaker is currently projected to make its debut within the $40 million to $45 million range. While the box office numbers would be miles away from what the director accomplished with the Black Panther movies, it would still be a solid debut for Warner Bros. ahead of this year’s summer movie season. The reported budget for the thrilling vampire adventure is also significantly lower than the amount needed to produce an MCU film. The landscape looks optimistic for both Coogler and the studio that produced Sinners.

Sinners features Michael B. Jordan portraying Smoke and Stack. The brothers have been away from their home for a long time, but this movie will force them to return under unexpected circumstances. What the siblings find won’t be the warm welcome they were expecting. The town has been taken over by an army of dreadful monsters, meaning that Smoke and Stack will do whatever it takes to protect the people they care about. Hailee Steinfeld stars in the movie as Mary. Before joining Ryan Coogler’s latest production, the performer was seen in the final sequence of The Marvels.

The box office forecast for Sinners is looking optimistic for Warner Bros. The movie will have yet another chance to charm audiences next weekend, before Thunderbolts*premieres in theaters at the start of next month.

At the end of last year, Warner Bros. decided that Sinners and Mickey 17would swap release dates. The movie directed by Bong Joon Ho didn’t become the box office success the studio was hoping for, but everything is lining up for Sinners to become a smash hit. The project will also mark the first time a Ryan Coogler movie premieres on the big screen since the launch of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
