Issa Rae’s hit show, Insecure is gearing up for season two and the big question fans had was ‘when is the season two release’?! Well, we won’t have to wait any longer because the show is set to come back in July!

Rae’s announcement comes fresh off the heels of Netflix acquiring the rights to the film she is writing based off an idea that went viral after a picture of both Lupita Nyong’o and Rihanna sitting together during Fashion Week was posted. The film will star the two and will be directed by Ava DuVernay.
If you haven’t watch the first season of the series yet, you have some time to play catch-up before the second season begins. It’s definitely binge-worthy.
Season 2 of Insecure premieres on HBO July 23!
