If you’re only using your HBO subscription to watch Game of Thrones, you’re missing out on some great content like Westworld, Insecure, Ballers, and the anthology drama True Detective, which has officially been renewed for a third season in which Academy Award winnerMahershala Ali will star.
For those unfamiliar with the show, each season is its own standalone world, with a new setting and new characters who are the focus and revolves around the events relating to them. According to sources, the third season will be centered around a state police detective named Wayne Hays (to be played by Ali) in Northwest Arkansas. Apparently, the show’s creator and original showrunner Nic Pizzolatto will head the writing for the season’s episodes as well as directing them alongside the director of Green Room, Jeremy Saulnier.
